TanzPetro is a Trellinese oil and energy company, headquartered in Martheqa. It is the largest of Trellin's "Big Three" energy companies, holding 24% of the national market share. Its oil is chiefly sourced from offshore reserves in the Sea of Jajich and western Sea of Velar, where it operates oil platforms and drillships. Of the Big Three, TanzPetro has the smallest proportion of power output generated by renewables or nuclear power. 11% of its total output is generated by hydroelectric and biomass power stations. TanzPetro operates just one nuclear power station, on the river Lasara near Bara ti'Emla.
