The Besmenian schilling (Besmenian: Besmenischer Schilling, or colloquially called Schilling) is the official currency of the Federal Republic of Besmenia.

History

Introduction (1918)

Introduction in West Besmenia (1967)

In the course of monetary union with West Besmenia, the Schilling was introduced in West Besmenia on April 1, 1967. This was probably one of the biggest adjustments during the reunification process for the West Besmenian citizens, since the Schilling in West Besmenia was a symbol of the economic miracle and prosperity in the East Besmenian Federal Republic.

Stability

The Besmenian schilling is one of the most stable currencies in the Coalition of Crown Albatross.
