The 1999 Allengin bombing (also known in Elbresia and neighboring countries as M-12), was a terrorist attack that occurred on May 12th, 1999, at the Haverson Village Mall in Allengin, Elbresia. The bombing was perpetrated by Kasim al-Tarahdi, a student from the University of Oftbon who became radicalized by the group Al-Fijar. Al-Tarahdi had fashioned a bomb inside a backpack with a timer. After leaving the bomb near the entrance of the mall, al-Tarahdi left and the device exploded 5 minutes later. The attack killed 4 people and wounded 177. Al-Tarahdi was quickly identified and detained, where he confessed to the attack and claimed the motivation was al-Fijar's opposition to Elbresia's involvement in CCA peacekeeping operations in Jaginistan. The attack led to Elbresia's government declaring al-Fijar a terrorist organization, the first country in the world to do so until the 2005 Ledua train bombings.
