The StG M15, officially the Stormgevär Modell 2015, is a family of Acrean select-fire firearms produced by Östergötland Industrigruppen. The M15 was first developed after OIG was awarded a contract to develop a lightweight modular carbine optimised for suppressed use for the Special Operations Task Group of the Royal Acrean Army. The system was first introduced in 2015, receiving the type designation "M15". In addition to Acrean special forces, the M15 has seen very wide adoption by Acrean gendarmerie and counter-terrorism units. The M15 is produced in a wide array of variants and chamberings, including a battle rifle variant chambered for the 6.8x51mm full-power rifle cartidge and an accompanying carbine.
