The Honourable Sir Kuray Tete KmV, is an Owayan businessman and former naval officer. He is known as the owner of Kuray Tete & Sons brewery and the Manuai's chain of restaurants. Born in 1948, the son of a grocer in Port Walshingham, Tete joined the Imperial Navy aged fourteen and served through the Red Decade, remaining on the royalist side, he ended his naval career in 1982 as a Post-captain commanding the cruiser HMNS Caledon.
