The Estmerish Community, alternatively referred to as Burnshire, is a Polity in the south-east of Alsland and one of 5 Communities of Alsland. Burnshire is bordered by Upper Swerdia to the north and Martiland to the west in Alsland and the Estmerish State of Swerdia in the east. Burnshire also shares a short border with Valduvia in the south. The Community's capital and largest city is Newick which is the smallest regional capital in Alsland. Burnshire is also the smallest community in terms of population and area within Alsland and is the most ethnically homogenous community within Alsland.

Burnshire was established in 1920 as a community to represent Alsland's Estmerish speaking population and was granted significant autonomy from the federal government as it was geographically separated from the rest of Alsland because of it's position east of the Neeves mountain range. Following the Great War the status of the Community was uncertain as Premier of the Transitional Authority of Alsland Villem Mand supported ceding the community to Estmere in exchange for recognition of Alslandic neutrality and independence although these plans were dropped after the 1937 Estmerish mutiny. The 1943 Burnshire status referendum confirmed Burnshire's status as an autonomous region of Alsland.
