The Tiwuran Armed Forces is the national armed forces of Tiwura. Formed in 1950 after independence, it was created to operate in the protection of the interests of Tiwura and the Tiwuran people. It would undergo reformation in 1995 after the overthrow of Kibwe Chipo with many of its old leadership being ousted and its structure recreated. The TAF has been involves in multiple conflicts, with the largest being the Bulamu War in the 1960s as well as both civil wars and several smaller internal rebellions.
