The National Party of Carucere is a center-right political party in Carucere. The successor to the Democratic Party, the party supports conservative and economically liberal policies. It supports greater economic integration with the rest of the Arucian Cooperation Organization and the wider region. Although it officially does not support any particular ethnic group, the White and Creole communities continue to be its largest voter base.
The National Party was founded in 1994 as the successor to the Democratic Party, to reinvent itself as a moderate, mainstream conservative, and multiethnic federal party in order to distance itself from its predecessors history. Although its support for its most controversial policies ended years before, the rebranding initially only had a minor impact in public support outside its traditional base. In 2016, the party's congress elected David Jonas to be the party's first Bahian Carucerean leader. The National Party continues to serve in the opposition and has been in the governing coalition once between 2014 to 2018.
