Sigrid Kyöstitytär (Sigrid Eerika Ruusuvuori Menatytär Ivanov Kyöstitytär; b. 29 January 1994) is the reigning Queen of Lumisaari and Pueramaa. She succeeded her father King Kyösti Jalmaripoika following his incapacitation via stroke as per his instructions in such a grave event, though he did not die until several months later. Her coronation in Lumisaari was held on 13 July 2021 at which point she began her reign, and she was coronated as Queen of Pueramaa on 1 August 2021 per their tradition to hold any coronations on the closest first day of the month following approval from the Pueramaan legislature the Lakikirjoittajat.
Name
Sigrid was born Sigrid Eerika Ruusuvuori and upon accession to the throne changed her name according to the traditions of the monarchy to Sigrid Eerika Ruusuvuori Menatytär Ivanov Kyöstitytär. Her original surname representing the House of Ruusuvuori is still representated, but is followed by names derived from her parents. Her mother, as the previous queen-consort, is named first and represented as Menatytär Ivanov or "Mena's daughter, House of Ivanov" while her father's name as the reigning king takes the most important position at the end of her name, represented as Kyöstitytär or "Kyösti's daughter." Her regnal name then became Sigrid Kyöstitytär as is tradition.
Early life
Sigrid was born on 29 January 1994 at 14:28 at Jäähalli Castle, the winter hunting estate in the Tumma Metsä forest region of west Pueramaa, notably interrupting a hunt in which both her father and mother were engaged. Ivanov was accompanying King Kyösti in a traditional carriage when she went into labor, causing them to rush back to the winter palace. Due to her parentage, she is both a member of the Pueramaan and Lumisaarian royal family from the House ofRuusuvuori as well as the Velikoslavian royal family from the House of Ivanov. Sigrid was christened in Kilpimuur at the Royal Palace Chapel on 1 March 1994.
Education
Beginning her education at the palace's preschool, her early childhood was spent predominantly in the care and company of palace staff and their children. In 2011, she graduated from Kilpimuur Asuinkoulu secondary school and took a year away from school before deciding to attend Ateze Provincial University in Eporte Vir, Sante Reze, choosing it for its prestige and history of having world leaders attend and receive a degree. She studied biochemistry at Ateze, graduating with honors in October 2015, two quarters earlier than expected within her course track. She enrolled in the Kilpimuur University organic chemistry doctorate program in 2016, receiving enough credits to be awarded a Master's degree but failing complete her doctorate before July 2021, at which time she had to take a leave of absence from the program due to her accession to the thrones of Pueramaa and Lumisaari.
