GHS Clarkson is the flagship of the Gladysynthian Navy. Built domestically in 2003 and named after Premiere Laurence Clarkson, the ship has its home port in Heimdahl'ia. She was originally classified as a training ship, intended to allow the Navy to experiment, train and gain familiarity with aircraft carrier operations as their only other carrier, the GHS Marsden, is a significantly smaller Sukarno-class aircraft carrier.
