Nava, officially the Kingdom of Nava, is a nation in northern Europe. It is bordered by Finlan to the east. It has a coast with the Navan Sea to the north, the North Sea to the southwest, the Danish Strait to the south, the Baltic Sea to the southeast, and the Gulf of Bothnia to the east.

Nava is one of the oldest post-collapse nations in the world. Nava is a founding member of the Human Rights Coalition and has consistently maintained a level of high civil liberties throughout its history. Along with the centuries old monarchy, a democratically elected government has been in use since its founding in 2293.

Nava has an immensely successful agriculture market. Nava was the first nation other than Valbar able to access the Valbar Global Seed Vault, by which time Valbar had established itself as a nation. Nava produces a significant portion of food products for northern North America and also exports food products to parts of Europe and western Asia. Nava also invests in submarine cities and transport systems, although there exists only one submarine city within the country.

Etymology

Nava is the shortened form of Scandinavia, which does not have a recorded etymology. The name has been used extensively throughout history to refer to the countries encompassing the land now occupied by Nava, and often included Iselan and Finlan. The first mention of the term Scandinavia was in Pliny the Elder's book, Natural History, written in the first century.
