Port Aseu is the capital and largest city of Lower Aseu, with a population of 1.2 million people, making it the second-most populous city in the Northern Cantalle Islands after Périnnois, Ossinia. It is located on the southwestern coast of Manley, the southernmost island in the Aseuans. It faces a natural harbor protected by a long sand spit which connects the city to Aseu International Airport and the rest of the island. Port Aseu is the largest predominantly Qoati-speaking city in the Northern Cantalles. Port Aseu was founded by the Quetanan empire in 1599 and quickly became one of the predominent trading hubs in the NCI region. As the center of the Quetanan empire's administrations for the Josettes, Port Aseu retained its administrative status when Lower Aseu became independent.
