Polona, officially the Kingdom of the Poles, is a nation in central Europe. It is bordered by Doitlan to the west, Transinta to the south, and Mosca to the east. It has a coast with the Danube Sea to the southwest, the Danish Strait to the northwest, the Baltic Sea to the north, and the Fin Sea to the northeast.

Polona is considered the oldest country in the world with earliest records mentioning a Pole king in 966. Disputes with Doitlan, Sranca, and Zonha exist, but these countries differ greatly from their early forms. Polona has been under constant threat from Magarsha and ESEP. Polona has been offered membership multiple times, but has refused for fear of losing complete sovereignty. Polona became a major ally of the Federation of Sol in 2972. After this, there has been escalation and many skirmishes on the Pol borders with Magarshan-influenced Doitlan and Transinta. Polona ranks moderately in political freedom with certain political ideologies banned such as Communism, Socialism, Liberalism, and Voltanism. Democratic process is followed and suffrage is universal for Pol citizens. Polona ranks high in civil liberties and moderately high in HRC-FS human rights.

Polona’s economy is fairly strong and large with a significant tourism industry including its Baltic beaches and islands. Military technology is heavily invested in and exported to several countries. Military technology is and has been essential to defence against ESEP.
