The Federation of Villorvi is a nation in eastern Adula bordered to the north by Skith, to the west by Mulfulira and Emmiria, to the south by Khaytan, and to the east by the Cantalle Ocean. Its capital is Cuenresa and its largest city is Edemia, with other notable settlements including Alverem, Rolan, Cuelle, Ciulava, and Buva. The country's population is roughly 18.3 million, mostly concentrated along the fertile Verem River valley region as it leads to the Sheria Sea.
Historically, most of present-day Villorvi was part of the ancient city states of Eastern Adula. Before the discovery of oil, Villorvi was a strategic middle ground between Emmiria, Quetana, and Mulfulira. It fell under the control of the Emmirian, Quetanan, and Skithan empires for all of its history prior to statehood. As the Skith Empire began to subside following the Barretoan Wars, Villorvi was the last mainland Adulan territory still occupied by Skith, with the population maintaining a general Skithan identity. However, in the latter half of the 20th century, a nationalist movement emerged defining Villorvi as a state. From 1946 to 1982, the region underwent large-scale modernization, largely based on income from oil production and agriculture. Villorvi gained independence following the Kuye War, when the Skithan government considered it was no longer financially viable to hold administrative control over the region. A referendum separated the country in 1984, and Villorvi's constitution created a multi-provincial federation.
Villorvi is a developing country with a high-income economy, backed by large oil reserves. Villorvi popular culture, in the form of theatre, radio, music, and television soap opera, is regionally influential and exported. The President is currently Saturnino Siri, and the Prime Minister is currently Rachele Panico. Villorvi is a member of the Coalition of Crown Albatross and WEDA.
