This is a list of Emerstarian Presidents up to the present time.

History

The President of Emerstari is the co-head of state and head of government in Emerstari. S/he is indirectly elected to a four-year term by the citizens of Emerstari through the Electoral College. The officeholder co-leads the executive branch of Emerstari's federal government and is the co-commander-in-chief of the Emerstarian Royal Military.

Since the office was established in 1789, 42 men have served as president. Hans Lindal served two non-consecutive terms in office and is therefore counted as the 16th and 18th President of Emerstari. The 42nd and the current president is Eric Jaems (since January 16, 2014). There have been five presidents who were also monarchs and/or members of the royal family. former presidents are currently living; the most recent former president to die was on .
