List of political parties in Elstock

Elstock has a multi-party system, where numerous political parties are represented in the country's Senate. The country's political system has seen numerous periods of consolidation and fragmentation along different cleavages in Elstocker society, ranging from conflicting Elsian and Tyrnican nationalist movements to differing ideological opinions on the matter of association and possible membership in the Commonwealth of Northern Auressia. From the mid-20th century until the early 21st century, elections in Elstock traditionally saw the Democratic Union of Elstock as the dominant party, while modern day circumstances around political parties has been described as fragmented and prone to electoral upsets and the dominance of local issues.
