Vestby, officially the Vestby Principality, is a nation in northeastern America. It is bordered by Meranuk to the west and Valen to the east. It has a coast with the Kalaallit Sea to the south and the Arctic Ocean to the north.

Vestby is ranked moderately high for civil liberties and moderately for HRC-FS human rights. Limits on speech and expression have been subject of scrutiny, and have shown signs of increasing violations of civil liberties. Political freedom is ranked moderately high which has also been declining due to diminishing ideological diversity.

Vestby is a large manufacturing base for the Kalaallisut Union of which it is a member of. Vestby also produces chemical and medical products, of which it has high standards for environmental protection. Despite this, pollution from the country is particularly high.

Etymology

Vestby means "western land" in Vestbyan, which is verified to be the name's origin from Vestbyan documents in that time period.
