Bellun is the eighth largest city in Elbresia with a population of 852,000 people. Located on Oertor Island directly south of the nation's largest city Oftbon and on the opposite coast of the capital of Allengin, it hosts one of the largest ports in the country and is a major center of historical significance. Throughout history, the city has been a center of administration for Elbresian kingdoms but has since been relegated to a status of national symbolism rather than governance. The city of Bellun has long been noted for the wealth of its citizens, and the houses of these wealthy merchants and manufacturers have been preserved throughout the city. However, fire has destroyed several old buildings, such as the house of the Estherolle League on the northern quays, in 1891. Although Bellun was formerly a fortified city, hardly anything remains of the former enceinte, only some remains of the city wall can be seen near the city center. The city's Elbresia Premier League team is Club Bellun.
