The Invasion of Aurucolian Formosa was a military operation undertaken by the Empire of Quenmin against the Aurucolian Empire in its colony of eponymous colony. The Quenminese invasion was led by General Phùng Cánh Huy in an effort to secure a logistical foothold for the Imperial Quenminese Navy against Joyonghea. The Quenminese landed in Southern Formosa on 21 September 1924, and fought against Kazimír Maggyesfalvi's Army of Formosa. After close to three years of bitter fighting, the last governor-general of Formosa, Gáspár Herczeg, surrendered the colony, and the Quenminese subsequently annexed it and turned Formosa into another province.
