41 Regiment Ranger (41 RR), also colloquially referred to as 41 Ranger, the Ranger Regiment or simply as The Rangers is an elite light infantry unit of the Meridonian Army. While not formally classified as such by the Meridon Defense Forces, their high degree of specialty training has led to many military commentators to refer to them as special forces. The Army refers to 41 RR as "The Army's premier light infantry unit".

41 Regiment Ranger conducts high-risk direct action missions that require levels of discretion and precision not normally available in conventional infantry units but also require the organic 'mass' and numbers of an infantry formation that are not available in special operations forces. They are often compared in this role to the Regiment Marines Commando, who serve as an expeditionary response force. 41 RR is one of the Defense Force's high-readiness response units, capable of deploying a battalion of infantry within 18 hours of initial notification. It consists of 4 infantry battalions, a military intelligence battalion, a combat support battalion, and a headquarters and service company.
