Elections were held to the National Assembly of China on 20 December, 2019, the 6th elections to the National Assembly. The Kuomintang, led by Ju Liluen, won a reduced majority and share of the vote, while the Communist Party and China Democratic League gained seats at their expense. Members of the National Assembly would elect Ju Liluen as president 92 days later. Independent politician Shiǔ Tzūnglì, affiliated with the CDL, was re-elected Secretary-General of the Assembly.
