North Coome is a neighborhood located in north-central Tofino, with the Zian River to the north and bordered by the neighborhoods of Verodine, South Coome, and Hemlock Heights. The area is the site of a large-scale redevelopment program that is being planned, funded, and constructed under a set of agreements among the provincial government of Zian and the City of Tofino with the aim of expanding the Tofino Central Business District. The neighborhood is home to Olympic Park, which staged much of the 2004 Summer Olympics. The city is connected across the river to Tirzah by the Brentwood and Mannal bridges.
