Stéphane is the third-largest city of Ossinia, with a population of 422,000 people. Located at the northernmost point of Ossinia, Stéphane is a major port on the Cantalle Ocean and, since diplomatic relations were restored following the ouster of Martin Saint-Yves in 2020, has become an important economic center for the Northern Cantalle Islands. Due to its geographic proximity to southeastern Zamastan between the Strait of Cranes, the city serves a ferry route with the cities of Antry, Templeham, and Anchorhead.
