Janapa City is the capital and largest city of the Janapan Isles, with a population of over 1.2 million in its metropolitan area. Located on the island of New Janah, it is the economic and cultural center of the country additionally to the administrative center. It is one of the earliest Adulan-founded cities in Euronia, with several historical buildings located in the historic district of Old Janah; among the most notable are the city's former defensive walls, Fort Wilburn, and Parliament of Janapa. Today, Janapa City is one of the Northern Cantalle Islands' most important seaports and headquarters many companies, and tourism is the city's primary sector. Many cruise ships, including Janapa's Belette Cruise Lines, stopover or anchor in the city. The city's two Northern Cantalle Football League clubs, Janapa City FC and New Janah FC, play at Janapa National Arena and Belette Arena.
