The Xhua River is the second-longest river in Yuan (after the Syhagtze River) and the sixth-longest river in the world, with an estimated length of 5,464 km (3,395 mi). Originating in the glacial lake of Dengang Lake, the river flows generally southwest, carving into the Central Yuan plain before emptying into the Sancheon Gulf.
