The Otmo Buro is an Ottonian compact automobile produced by Ottomoto under the Otmo marque. The vehicle was the first model produced by the company following its founding in 1952, and the nameplate has been active every year since, produced across nine generations (with a tenth currently being designed).
The Buro is generally marketed toward buyers on a budget. Its body-on-frame construction (unusual in Ottonian passenger cars) makes it quite versatile for fleet sales, and despite its smaller platform, variants are available in sedan, hatchback, compact pickup truck, and panel van configurations to meet a variety of needs. The Buro has a long-standing reputation for durability, mechanical reliability, and ease of repair.
Critics of the vehicle note its lackluster fuel economy, unimpressive safety ratings, and indifferent performance, while its fans generally consider those to be superfluous to the vehicle's purpose as a family and work vehicle.
Variants of the Buro are notably used for postal delivery and as police vehicles in Ottonia. Principles of the Buro's design philosophy, and several drive components, were used to create a unibody passenger vehicle, the Otmo Poni.
Due to its mechanical simplicity, long running model line and ready availability of parts, the Buro is a popular vehicle in Ottonia for modifying and tuning.
