The 2021 Zalyk legislative election is scheduled to be held on May 14, 2021. All 57 seats of the Grand Khural will be up for election in first-past-the-post, constituency-based elections to decide the next Khural government, and, indirectly, Zalykia's next governor. Incumbent Khermen Osor is standing for re-election, while Elya Yamanchev and Boris Yudin, both of whom stood in the last election, are the main opposition leaders. The resulting government will form the 5th convocation of the Grand Khural.

The buildup to the election has been conducted mainly under the backdrop of increased repression by the central government towards Soravia's main opposition parties. The arrest of Rally for Zalykia's parliamentary leader, Donduk Kichikov, and later the arrest of Yashkul's incumbent mayor, Khunbish Nokhaev, have prompted calls of election tampering from party officials. Internationally, the arrests were condemned by a myriad of countries including Azmara, Caldia and Estmere, as well as various human rights groups that included the Etrurian Maria Furelli Association and the Estmerish Liberty House.
