The Al-Raha war was a conflict between the Empire of Exponent and the Sultanate of Riysa, during which Riysian forces sought to reclaim the Al-Raha peninsula, which was captured by Imperial forces during the Conquest of Al-Raha (1546). The Riysian forces sought to take advantage of the chaos sewn by the Hesperidesian plagues, as did several other regional powers at the time.
Background
In 1546, Imperial forces invaded al-Raha, rapidly seizing Riysian cities throughout the area and bringing the peninsula under their control.
