The Armed Forces of Voidkree or AFVK for short are the military of the Republic of Voidkree and consist of 5 main branches; the Voidian Defence Forces (VDF), the Voidian Air Force (VAF), the Voidian Naval Forces (VNF), the Voidian Steel Guards (VSG) and the Voidian Deterrence Task Forces (VDTF). It contains the highest amount of magic and arcana in the entire country, which it uses to enchant shell, vehicles, weapons or armour in ways technology would have made costly such as imbuing tanks or soldiers to temporarily make them harder to hit by blurring their image or making shells explode into a massive fireball upon impact.

Before 1543, the AFVK had 6 branches, with the sixth being the "Voidian Security and Intelligence Service" or VKVȚ but due to biases or narrow perspectives from the military superiors of the AFVK, it was chosen to separate the VKVȚ from the AFVK as to promote objectivity and impartiality in intelligence analysis and decision-making within the VKVȚ and to enhance oversight and accountability mechanisms.

Branches

Voidian Defence Force

The ground forces are largest branch of the AFVK with a total of around 425,000 members in both reserve and active. As a ground branch a majority of their operations are conducted on the ground but if a certain operation calls for it, it will work in tandem with the other branches to conduct amphibious or air mission. The VDF contains 1 other sub-branch other than the VDF known as the Battle Mages. The Battle Mages are trained individuals who have harnessed the Schools of Magic for means of destruction and desolation.

Voidian Air Force

The air force of the republic and main backbone of any offensive, defensive or logistical effort on the ground and in the sea. It operates over a thousand aircraft and a member count of around 105,000 in both reserve and active service.

Voidian Naval Force

The naval force of the AFVK acts as both a protector of Voidkree's waters and as a surface for the VAF and VDF to conduct operations.

Voidian Steel Guard

The main special forces of the AFVK, which incorporates both magic and science to make constructs or super soldiers for use in high risk situations or escorting important personnel or cargo. The member count is classified but assumed to be around 1,500.

Voidian Deterrence Task Force

A more advanced version of the nation's SWAT teams, meant to deal with violent protests all the way to terrorism.

Ranks

Ranks of the Armed Forces of Voidkree are the same amongst all branches expect the Deterrence Task Force, which uses the rank system of the Voidian Law Enforcement. Each branch is distinguished a prefix and designated frame colour that surrounds the rank, with Etiva- (ground [black frame]), Aẋuh- (air [white frame]), Vaṡṡ- (sea [blue frame]) or Țket- (steel, [red frame]) before their rank. Ranks are displayed on a enlisted/officer's uniform cap, collar and helmet. Though amongst ranks on the fields, there is barely a difference in war time between for example a sub-lieutenant and a general the biggest difference is rank symbology and this allows higher ranking officials a sort of veil of protection against targeted attacks against them.
