History

Nomads and Pilgrimage

It has been majorly accepted by historians that the first major nomadic movement was in 1264 by nomads from the coast and surrounding territories looking for wheat and agricultural land during agricultural season. The first settlements popped up around 1270s as believed by Bak historians, where the first settlements which include the 'Kellberg' settlement in northern Alnerg. The first nomads of Bakyern made their settlements surrounding the rivers and lakes of Bakyern and wide agricultural lands. At first, the nomads began to move around Bakyern until they settled down and began to create the first Bak culture and civilization, which was the Claber Civilization which was the first major civilization which created the precedent for future nations and civilizations.

Sooner in 1454, the first pilgrimages of reformed Samiists arrived in Bakyern, as they were looking for a new land to bring reformed Samiism to the local natives.

The pilgrims blended into the natives and locals and created mutual peace with the natives, with Samiism being brought to the Bak natives. The Bak Natives and Samiist Pilgrims made peace with each other, as the first Samiist pilgrims settlements being created around the agricultural lands and coastal area.

Bak Confederacy & Bakyern City-States

Following beginning of settlements in Bakyern by pilgrims and natives, the Claber Civilization collapsed. With the creation of the first city-states and nations, the largest of the few included the Kingdom of Clabury and Duchy of Bakyern. The Wars of Unification in 1565 between the Northern Confederation and the League of Iron factions allowed for the creation of what would be Bakyern, the Kingdom of Bakyern. The first Regent of Bakyern was Regent Manwel IV of Mansser. The foundation of the Bak Confederacy and the Kingdom of Bakyern would begin to create a sense of conquest and expansionism between Bakyern.

The Kingdom of Bakyern engaged in several wars of conquest against the Kingdom of Mansser, the Grand Duchy of Weldel, and the Kingdom of Southern Esnavia. Following years of conflicts, in 1651 the Great Kingdom of Bakyern was founded, which will serve to be modern day Bakyern.

The Great Kingdom of Bakyern expanded the Bak Confederacy into Bakyern city-states and smaller states. The Confederacy began a serious of unification between 1681 to 1732 as members of the Confederacy united and joined the Great Kingdom of Bakyern. As the modern day borders of Bakyern were being established, Bakyern engaged in a war of expansionism against its neighbors.

War of Bak-Junterland 1873

Following years of rising tension, Junterland and Bakyern led to war, with the Junterland's main objective is to gain Bakyern's former coast. The Bak-Junterland War of 1873 was a Bak major defeat, being the first time Bakyern lost a war since 1612. The conflict resulted in the loss of Bakyern's coast, being handed over to Junterland. The Bak Navy was scuttled at port, and ever since Junterland-Bak relations haven't been of the best terms.

21st Century

As Bakyern entered the 21st Century, it engaged in its major war against a foreign power in the Bak-Mansser War of 1923. After that, Bakyern stayed on an ideology of neutrality. Throughout the majority of the 21st Century, Bakyern stayed neutral. Not interfering in any war. In 1963, the Bak government began to begin human rights for women and other minorities after the Liberal-Democratic Chairman Elwarld became Prime Minister of Bakyern.

After basic human rights were allowed for women and minorities, stability in the National Federal Congress decreased as the National Party of Bakyern which had the most seats at the moment and also opposed human rights for women and minorities diminished, leaving a big power gap. The gap expanded, allowing the People's Party of Bakyern and Fascists' Party gaining seat in Congress, all radical ideological parties.
