Betria is a city in northern Trellin. It is the capital of the province of Idisamo and, with 1.79 million people in its urban area, is the largest city in Idisamo and the eleventh-most populous city in Trellin. It is the economic and cultural centre of East Idisamo, a distinct subregion of the province. Over a third of Idisamo's population lives in urban Betria, which has more than twice the population of the next largest city, Lúiv. The Betrian metropolitan area extends a strong pull on areas of western Pelna, and tens of thousands commute from outside Idisamo to work in the city.

Betria lies close to the border with Pelna on one of the main east-west roads of ancient Trellin. It is on the north bank of the Rastanar, where the Rastanar flows into a sheltered harbour known as the Betrian Roads. The Betrian Roads are a historically important anchorage for ships and for centuries made Betria one of the busiest ports on the long stretch of coast between the Straits of Jajich and the mouth of the Flotir.

Karindos I of Trellin (reigned 148-183) was born in Betria in 119 AD.
