The film starts with a narration of events preceding the film. The rise in terrorism and political upheaval across the world during the 1990's prompts international governments to develop technologies to defend the world from the increasing threat of global terrorism, the Vinalian {{wp|Physicist}} Kyrylo Kornijchuk is successful in 2004 in creating time travel technology, where a portal called a "{{wp|Bow_and_arrow|Bow}}" is used to send something an "{{wp|Bow_and_arrow|Arrow}}" into an {{wp|Multiverse|alternate version}} of the world which is located 1 week into the future of the current time. Utilizing this technology agents are able to be sent into the future to relay information back through the use of a second bow which sends arrows back to the original timeline. Using this method, global governments are able to stop terrorism, and other activities, to manage this operations a multinational group called the Jaguar Division is created. The Jaguar division is infiltrated by the Functionalist group the Red Thunder, who are able to gather information and successfully overthrow global governments in 2010, after they threaten to utilize {{wp|nuclear weapon}}s upon the world and destroy it.

In 2050, the world is ruled by the iron fist of the Red Thunder, who have brought forth an era of highly advanced {{wp|Cyborg|Human-Cyborgs}} and technological advance. Human-Cyborg Vitalij is a member of Jaguar Division, and part of a special program called "Silver Spear" which aims at creating bows which can see into other alternate worlds. During a silver spear test, Vitalij successfully travels into an alternate world, discovering himself one year into the future. He is shocked to discover that the Red Thunder government was never established. As he walks the streets of Orlavo, he meets a young woman Polina who claims to be a later Silver Spear test subject who travelled 50 years into the past from the year 2080, she reveals that they both discovered an alternate version of the world where the portals have never been discovered. She reveals that the Red Thunder are in fact a declining society from the year 2300, which are utilizing the time traveling technology to prevent the collapse of their society by rewriting and changing history to suit their needs. Polina states that her mission was to investigate other Red Thunder members and their actions in the past to prevent a possible collapse in the future, but reveals that the fact that time travel was never invented on this world it is impossible to leave.
 
Vitalij takes a keen interest on Polina, who he discovers to be her daughter born in 2054, after she shares her last name and information regarding her parents. Vitalij shocked by this revelation runs away from Polina, trying to run away he accidentally gets hit by a flying car and is taken to the hospital. There he awakens and discovers that the car that hit him, was rushing to the hospital after a man had died, upon investigating he discovers that the dead man, was the version of him in this universe. He meets up with Polina and share this revelation.


Jaguar conducts an interview on Talisman seeking to discover why he didn't fire on his squad mate and the rebel girl, and he states that his gun had jammed and he was trying to plead with the soldier to get him to return to his senses. He is held temporarily as a protocol measure, time Jaguar utilizes to introduce him to the "Sapphire" program, which seeks to replace the current human divisions of the Arrow, with {{wp|Robot}}s who will not hesitate to carry out orders. After a short investigation discovers that Talismans cover story is correct, Talisman is allowed to return home. Talisman is described as a loyal, and deadly agent by Jaguar to the general director of Arrow "Sixth Sense" (Yevhen Phoumsavanh), who praises him and calls him the greatest soldier in the program. Talisman as he walks back home feels like he is followed by a woman (Olesya Ruban), Talisman tries to corner this woman but discovers that she does not exist, and is a visual illusion. Talisman returns to his apartment where he spends the evening pondering on the events of the previous days.
