Helena Wells is the current Paragon-Queen of the United Kingdom of Malgrave, a position they have held since 2005 after they were approved by the electorate in the 2005 Paragon Referendum.

Early life and career

Helena was born in Epping on the 14th of December 14th 1975, to Alfred and Claudia Wells who were at that point both employees at the Malgravean State-Owned Rail Transportation, Infrastructure and Research Corporation (MSORTIRC). From an early age, Helena was an active member of the Gabriel Narutowicz Pioneers and soon found herself rising to a leadership position in the organisation, a trend which continued when Helena was transferred to the Free Democratic Youth.

In 1993 Helena enrolled at Pakosc Military Academy deciding to take a course in history, ancestorism and social solidarity while she underwent basic military training. In 1996 Helena left Pakosc Military Academy and began basic training with the Territorial Defence Force.

Military Service

Helena started her military duty in 1996 as a Sub-Lieutenant and was assigned to a unit in the Omsk region engaged in counter-terrorism operations designed to try and restore tourism to the region, as the industry had collapsed following pressure from terrorism and the economic fallout of the Lost Decade.

Between 1996 and 1998 Helena remained in Omsk and took part in numerous offensive operations against terrorists aligned with the collapsed National Workers' Republic. During this time Helena rose to the rank of Lieutenant and her conduct was praised by her superior officers.

After completing specialised commando training in Pakosc, Helena transferred from the Territorial Defence Force to the Royal Marines in 1999. Helena was given a new posting in Pakosc, as the Royal Marines were starting a new phase of offensive operations against the hideouts of terror networks linked to remnants of the NWR and SRM as part of preparations to open the country up to outsiders and prevent future terror attacks.

In the same year Helena was awarded the Asola Medal for her work in securing the capture of a high-value terrorist operative and preventing large-scale loss of life, as her work unravelled a terrorist plot being organised by the Patriotic Front. In recognition her work and meritorious service Helena also received a promotion to the rank of Captain.

In 2000 Helena was transferred from her posting in the Royal Marines to a job in the Special Investigative Service. It is unknown what caused this transfer to take place, however, Helena found herself in the Appropriations Committee of the SIS, a role which involved a lot of travel across Malgrave and Mystria as a whole checking up on SIS operations and looking at new equipment.

For her work in improving national security Helena was recommended for Paragon status in 2003, a request which was investigated by the Ancestral Study Group and accepted.

Paragon-Queen

After Emilio Longoni resigned as Paragon-King in 2004 work was started by the Ancestral Study Group on his successor and the process of evaluating the Paragons started in earnest. Helena was selected as a potential candidate in the same year and took part in a few personal interviews over the following months.

As the Ancestral Study Group wished to select a candidate which could present a decent image in the international community, the decision was taken to focus the selection process on candidates who had experience with the international community which soon made Helena one of the front-runners due to her work as part of the SIS.

In 2005 the Ancestral Study Group announced that they had selected Helena Wells as their candidate for Paragon-Queen. Helena was officially crowned Paragon-Queen after she received the support of the people in the 2005 Paragon Referendum.

Personal life

Family and romance

In 2002 Helena started a relationship with Myka Wells and the two held a coupling ceremony in 2004 at an ASG facility in Portmon. In 2013 it was reported in the Royal Malgravean Times that the couple were expecting their first child together.

Religion

Helena's own religious beliefs are unknown, although, as Paragon-Queen they have been seen attending numerous religious festivals. Helena also contributed a large amount of her yearly salary to the Ancestral Study Group and was involved in campaigns to raise money for charitable efforts across Mystria.
