Overview Geographically

Hiblund, or in Hiblundyuin, Hivlunt, is a nation located in southern Thrismari, in the center of the Marigic Peninsula. Hiblund borders many nations, including Fallooplesburg in the north, East Alyeska in the south, UCP of Scotland in the southeast, Saint Hera in the southwest, and the Republic Federation of Alaskana in the east. The nation has a land area of 792,183 km2. As for Hiblund’s capital city, Vovilveante, their capital and most populated city. The capital part is called Vovilveante CD. Porlaik, Antres, Pavre, Suzell, and Tintianto also contain a high margin of the population.

Due to the Kalunine Mountains and the cold, the southern part of Hiblund isn’t all that populated, with an exception towards ‘The City Stretch’, which is located near the Kalunine but has the Techoriul River running through the cities. As for the other highly populated cities in the south, major cities are funded by the government to insure air conditioning, agriculture, and other major necessities for the city. There are 18 different provinces in Hiblund, Vovilveante’s capital portion is the only territory in Hiblund without permission to vote, while it is considered its own province.

History

Hiblund’s history is not very complicated. Hiblund gained independence from Gadorien in 1937. It was a peaceful independence, for the reason of plainly the fact that it was overseas and had little connection being on an entirely different continent. Gadorien originally colonized Hiblund’s location in 1895. This region contained the entirety of Frarstizk, which separated peacefully in 1946 due to lack of cultural likeliness.

Sporting District

Hiblund is well-known for its athletic talents. Although their national football team has only won the World Cup 4 times, and only 2 times not under Gadorien, their individual teams are highly skilled in Anteria. This is mostly the fact that the top players usually don’t play for the national team. However in the ACLC, their champion is always a favorite to win the whole thing. Their primary football league is the Shodiax Peuren Iede, (Shodiax Primary League), and their secondary is Shodiax Vaitrel Iede (Shodiax Secondary League). Together they are under the Shodiax League. The Peuren has 18 clubs, along with the Vaitrel. Besides football, Hiblund also created their own sport, Pivotball. The sport has been around for 36 years, yet still only Hiblund plays it. Hiblund enjoys playing table tennis, tennis, and disc golf, producing some of the best stars (such as Dartou Celinquair (TT), Ferchaw Kinsde (TT), Distaru Harwax (T), and Evijai Reku (DG). Hiblund is also very skilled in floor hockey.

"Hiblund's Sport": Pivotball

Rules to pivotball:

Each team has:

3 offensive players

1 mid-range player

2 corner-defensive players

1 goalkeeper

Materials:

2 Goals (Roughly height of a football goal, length of the height of a football goal, making it square in shape)

1 wiffle bat per player (mot including gk)

1 enclosed wiffleball (no holes)

Game start:

Game starts with the visitor team's left corner defender tossing the ball up and hitting is with the player's bat. If the player misses, redo until contact is made. Time starts at first contact.

Passing:

To pass:

Once a player catches/picks up the ball, the player has 3 seconds to throw it upwards. The player that threw the ball is the only one to hit it with his/her bat. If the player misses, the other team must pick it up within 10 seconds and pass the ball. Also, no one can walk/run with the ball, however they can pivot.

No defensive interception can be made if:

-a catch over the neck area

-catch within 6 yards

-throw from the gk

They can be done if:

-catch under a neck area, +6 yards, and not from gk

-ball hit the ground at any point, not from the gk

GK movement:

They can move on their quarter of the field, and with the ball they can walk/run with the ball for 10 seconds to pass, and the ball has to be caught/picked up by a teammate before half-way. If the ball goes out of play, only the gk can get the ball and pass it.

Penalties+extra rules:

-If the ball goes over the dashed line but not over the white line, only the corner defenders can get the ball and pass it into play.

-If the ball goes over the fence (borderline on the length, 6 yards from the line on the width), the team that didn't hit it over gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball.

-If another team hits the ball when it is the other team's possession, the player who threw it gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball.

-If another player from the same team of the player that threw it, hits it, the other team gets the ball at the spot.

-If a player violates a defensive interception rule, the other team gets the ball and gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball at the spot of the violation.

-A player cannot pass itself, a teammate must get the ball. If they do, the other team gets the ball.

-If a tackle occurs, the player tackled gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball.

-If a penalty occurs within a 5 yard radius of the goal, gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball, and it occurs 5 yards from the goal.

-Players of the team with the ball can assist a pass/goal with their bat as long as the ball is in mid-air.

-If any player hits the ball with their bat while the ball is touching the ground, if the team with the ball does it, the ball goes to the other team, if the team without the ball does it, the team with the ball gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball.

-If a player walk/runs with the ball, the other team gets three swings, and the first one to have contact counts. If none hit, the other team gets the ball.

-The gks and the team with the ball may bypass the interception rules.

-Any fights result in a 2-game suspension and and ejection from the current game.

-Any unintentional contact between 2 players w/o the ball causes a time-pause until the issue is resolved.

-If a player holds onto the ball for more than the allowed time, the ball goes to the other team at the spot of the penalty.

-If a player hits the ball with his/her bat with 2 hands on the bat, the other team gets the ball at the point of the violation.

-If a gk passes the ball over the half-way mark, the other team gets the ball in the center of the field.

-If a player lifts the non-pivoting foot after pivoting, and the pivoted foot is on the ground, it is considered a travel. If a player lifts the non-pivoting foot after pivoting, and the pivoted foot hasn't touched the ground, it is not a travel.
