The first season began on 11 October 1939 and lasted until 1 June 1940. The result was a victory for Ilfracombe over their main rival [[Federal Ice Hockey League (Alsland)#List of teams|Rahu]]. The first season had one team from each province of Alsland. This rule was dropped in 1952 and since the League has expanded to 26 teams across Alsland. The league's headquarters are in [[Alsland#Largest Cities|Wottested]], [[Provinces of Alsland|Delland]] where they have been headquartered since 1955. The league is also funded by the [[Cabinet of Alsland#Departments|Department of Culture and Sport]]. The Department helps fund the league and in return the FIHK provides free international advertisements for Alsland and tourism. The Dusky Nipple (Gharbaic: Halmat al-Shwkwlat) is a brand of chocolate dessert first developed and produced by the Auda Foods Company in 1937. Unlike more conventional Mutulese chocolate, it is a sweet confection with a solid, creamy consistency rather than a spicy or bitter bottled beverage. The candy has been described as having a teardrop shape, and has a core consisting of dark chocolate or fudge beneath its milk chocolate exterior. It is a popular dessert item in the Ozeros region, and has inspired a number of much beloved street foods as well as corporate spin-offs such as the Milky Nipple and the Fruity Nipple.
