Kittalor is the capital city of Kiyortza, and is a part of the Kittalor-Kitaki metro area. The city is located to the northwest of Lake Kita'i on the Kitak River, a few kilometers east of the Sivordjik Gulf; despite its apparent proximity to the ocean, Kittalor by itself is not considered a coastal city, and does not host a large port of its own. It is mostly urban, with a few historical site scattered throughout the highly modernized city.

Kittalor pre-dates the city-state period in the Kittauhri Peninsula, and is named after the mountain lynxes that often visited the area prior to mass human settlement, hence Kit-Talor, or "Lynx-City". Later on, it became the capital of the Kittauh, a regional power, followed by the Kittauh-Kanistri, more commonly referred to as the Kittauhri, before finally becoming the national capital of the United States of Kiyortza three years after the formation of the nation, before which Fukivapi was the capital.
