Makomborero Ngonidzashe was born on 16 September, 2016 to Tavonga Ngonidzashe and Sheshya Ngonidzashe, at 08:43 at the Royal Izibongo Hospital in Guta raMambo. He was followed by his twin brother, Munyaradzi Ngonidzashe at 09:06. With his birth, he displaced Taremekedzwa Ngonidzashe in the line of succession, who if his father had become Mambo prior to Makomborero's birth, be the heir presumptive.
