The Ministry of Overseas and Nantai Compatriot Affairs (MONA, Ваилаи, Нантаи Гукбо Севуку) is a ministry within the State Council of Namor. It is responsible for relations between the Namorese government and Namorese living overseas and in the territory of Nantai.

It is headquartered in Namo and maintains a presence in Kenyen through the Namo Economic and Cultural Exchange Bureau.

History

The ministry was formed in NMR 2320 as the Ministry of Overseas, Nantai and Peitoa Compatriot Affairs (MONPA) back when Peitoa remained under the control of the Republicans. President-General Gelai Antelope tasked the ministry with strengthening relations between Namo and Overseas Namorese and "compatriots" living in Nantai and Peitoa to realize the goal of national reunification.

Starting the NMR 2330s, the MONPA and its Peitoan counterpart, the Ministry of Mainland Affairs (MOMA), held low-profile talks to reduce tensions between the two rival governments.

After Namor and Luziyca normalized relations in the NMR 2350s, the MONPA established a presence in Kenyen through the Namo Economic and Cultural Exchange Bureau.

The ministry was renamed MONA after Peitoa came under the control of the People's Republic in NMR 2368.
