The Parliament of Surrow (Chequan: Apatishumamuitun Utessit, Itchalnu: Nunagijatta maligaliurvigjuangani) is the legislative branch of Surrow, comprising of 66 seats. The current legislature was created in 1950 following Surrow's independence from Rythene, with Parliament being a unicameral legislature. The Parliament of Surrow meets at Parliament House in Holcot Inlet, having done so since 1969.

Distribution

Per the Constitution of Surrow, each Member of Parliament must represent between 3,000 and 3,500 people, although each county and district must be represented by a minimum of one seat.

Since 1969, counties may not lose seats if it falls below the total number of seats that they had in 1969. Thus, seats allocated as a result of either the minimum one seat rule or population growth are known as regular seats, while seats allocated to counties per the 1969 rule are known as compensatory seats. All members of Parliament have the same rights, regardless of what type of seat they have.
