The Royal Mejian Army is the land component of the Costa Mejian Armed Forces. It is responsible for maintaining the territorial sovereignty of the King of Costa Mejis as well as supporting Costa Meian interests in operations abroad. It's mission is to take all necessary measures for the defense of the Kingdom against threatened invasion or any action directed against the independence, sovereignty, interests or territorial integrity of the nation or threatening to secure the life or property of citizens thereof.

A Costa Megion infantry squad is comprised of ten soldiers, led by a Sargento. The Sargento is assisted by a dedicated radio operator who is also armed with a standard rifle, generally a Fusil Asalto Modello 1993 (FAM-86) assault rifle. The remaining members are divided into two fireteams, both led by a Cabo. Each fireteam has three riflemen all armed with the aforementioned FAM-86 assault rifles, and one of whom will be equipped with a underbarrel grenade launcher. The final member of the fireteam is an automatic riflemen equipped with a Ametralladora Ligera Modello 1986 (ALM-86) light machinegun. Light antitank weapons in the form of the Misil Antitanque Individual Modello 1995 (MAIM-95) are also available for individual soldiers to carry. Each infantry company has three infantry platoons and a weapons platoon, whose personnel re equipped with heavier weaponry than a standard infantry squad. Equipment utilized by a weapons platoon include the Ametralladora Mediana Modello 1986 (AMM-86) medium machine gun and Ametralladora Pesada Modello 1986 (APM-86) heavy machine gun, the Ametralladora Granada Modello 1990 grenade machine gun, or the Misil Antitanque Individual Modello 2004 (MAIM-04) antitank weapon. Sometimes, a light 60 mm is available to the weapons platoon as well. A weapons platoon is generally commanded by a Tenente. In addition, a marksman section is attached to each infantry company, comprised of up to 6 designated marksman who are equipped with Fusil Tirador Modello 1986 (FTM-86) rifles for engaging more distant infantry targets of opportunity. The marksman section is generally commanded by a Señor Sargento. A Royal Mejian infantry company also has attached support in the form of an 82 mm mortar team, an ATGM team equipped with the Lumenic Spike (missile)MAM-06/30 or MAM-06/70 antitank missiles, and an air defense section equipped with the Notreceauen MAIM-88)
The majority of the Costa Mejian infantry forces are considered motorized infantry and are generally transported by truck. Some units are equipped with the 6x6 Pegaso armoured personnel carrier, and plans to reequip the entirety of the Royal Mejian Army with these fighting vehicles have been discussed. The Pegaso serves as both an armored personal carrier armed with a heavy machine gun, usually a Ametralladora Pesada Modello 1986 (APM-86), and in other roles, including as a wheeled tank destroyer equipped with anti-tank guided missiles, a engineering vehicle, command post, armored ambulance, and mortar carrier
