The Sultan of Sharifistan is the Sharifistani head of state and head of government. They are also the Commander in-Chief (Amir Al-Akbar) of the Sharifistani Armed Forces and Head of the Justice System.
Incumbents 1922-1950: Sultan Mehmet I
1975-2005: Sultan Mehmet Khan II
1990-2014: Sultan Ahmed Khan (Sharifistan)
2014-2020: Sultan Suleiman Khan
2020: Regency of Prince Khalid Suleiman Khan, expected to end in 2021
