The Volton Metro, Volton Metro, is the rapid transit system of Volton, a large city in the southern coast of Riamo.
Opened in 1901 during the Empire of Tengaria, the Subterranean is one of the oldest rapid transit systems in Western Euclea. Due to original plans to make the project an atmopsheric railway, the system was given its nickname; however, the idea was scrapped in favor of an electrified system, marking one of the first times that an underground railway was electrified.
In addition to the principal underground rail and despite its name, the Metro also oversees oversight of the surface level tram and trenchway systems.
