The 107th WorldVision Song Contest is the 107th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, which was hosted in Doportedas, Britonisea. It will be hosted in the Arena de Banques, in the Mountbatten Consistuency, which has previously hosted the IBA Gymnastics Championships. The contest is organised by BITC (The Britonish International Television Company). Doportedas, the capital of the country, is hosting for the first time in the nation's 76-edition history after three previous failed attempts to bring the contest to the capital.
The three live shows will be hosted by former WorldVision Song Contest (73) winner Alyxhia Willis, popular television presenter Matt Evans and singer, who is set to represent Britonisea at the 108th WorldVision Song Contest, Xavier Benchek.
Thirty seven nations will participate at the 107th WorldVision Song Contest, with eight nations not returning after competing at the 106th WorldVision Song Contest. However, 17 nations, including the hosts, will return to the contest bringing the total to 37. The contest will have semi-finals for the first time since the 100th WorldVision Song Contest.
Location
The 107th WorldVision Song Contest will be held in Doportedas, the capital of Britonisea. The bid was the nation's eleventh bid to host the competition, and sixth successful. After winning the rights, Britonisea became the drew with Polkopia becoming the nation who has hosted the Contest the most times. Britonisea had previously hosted WorldVision's: 41, 51, 57, 66 and 81. The selected venue for the 107th WorldVision Song Contest is Arena de Banques, a multi-purpose venue located in Mountbatten, Britonisea - a constituency in the west of the city. The Titian Carpet, an opportunity for the 37 participants to appear before the cameras and accredited press, took place in Saintlake, Britonisea, which is known to be one of the city's main tourist attractions. The carpet sprawled along the Saintlake waterfront from Saintlake Station to the Saintlake Castle which is where the Opening Ceremony took place behind closed doors.
The WorldVision Village 107 took place in Park Bromedine, Britonisea in the south-west of the city, around three miles away from Mountbatten. 71 performers from a multitude of nations performed during the Village opening hours. The village screened each of the semi-finals and the finals, with the latter screening being ticket at £13.99 BPS per person ($23.50 USD). There were two WorldClub locations; WorldClub Main took place at Bar Firestorm in Juke Royale on the Western Waterfront while WorldClub North took place in Hanger 8 on Aysledwire Island adjacent to the international station. Both events were ticketed (£12.99 [$21.80 USD] per night, increasing to £17.99 [$30 USD] for the Grand Final or £99.99 over the eleven days including the Grand Final [$198 USD]) hosted the official after-parties and special performances from WorldVision related acts, including participants at the 107th WorldVision Song Contest.
Host Bidding Phase
The host city bid phase commenced between 20th April 2023 to the 15th May 2023. Three cities from around the multiverse bidded to host the 107th WorldVision Song Contest, with Doportedas winning.
