Province of Étaín (Étaían: Cúige Étaín) is a Blechingia province located on a island as the southernmost point of Blechingia. It is bordered by the Sea Sioannon on all sides. Étaín is the least populous province in the country, and is the country's hub for shipbuilding and military naval construction. The province is dotted mainly by small towns and cities, and is one of the most developed provinces in the country. It is also home to the only active volcane's in the nation.
Etymology
Étaín or Édaín (Modern Éadaoin spelling: Éadaoin) is a figure of Édaín mythology, best known as the heroine of Tochmarc Étaíne (The Wooing Of Étaín), one of the oldest and richest stories of the Mythological Cycle. She also figures in the Middle Édaín Togail Bruidne Dá Derga (The Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel). T. F. O'Rahilly identified her as a sun goddess.
History
Early History
Pre-Colonial Era
Most of this period of time between 902-1583 is very limited in writing's from the period as most people on the island mostly couldn't read or write excect for the monks in the church. But being so far south and having is largest population center on the bay that protected ships and the cities from the harsh storms that hit the island.
Colonial Era
On 5 August 1583, Sir Humphrey Cerian claimed Eťain as Krenya's first overseas colony under Royal Charter of Duke Alfred of Krenya, thus officially establishing a forerunner to the much later Krenyan Empire.Eťain is considered Krenya's oldest colony. At the time of Krenyan settlement, the modern day Blechingians inhabited the island.
Following the Thrismari Revolutionary War, Ferenc Seedorf was exiled to the island as a punishment, so that he could never return to mainland Thrismari

Geography
Étaín has a vey strange and unique geography. It has flat beaches on its western shore and more mountainous and volicanic beaches along its eastern shore, the south and southeast part of the islands coast have alot of fjords that streak for about 11km inland.

Édaín has a total of 10 county's or second-level administrative divisions with the largest and least populous being Ardchríocha (English: Highlands). The most populous is Killanery with around 29,890 citizens.
