Opening ceremony
- The opening ceremony's artistic performance focused on environmentalist themes, and featured a starring role for the dragon said to live inside Paracuttis. The crowd then saw retired women's ice hockey captain Briana Meekinson light the Olympic cauldron. The torch was carried into the stadium by Marie-Anne Boucher, mother of the late Jean-Luc Lacroix, and handed to retired alpine skier Evan Mackay, who then passed it Meekinson.
- The Games were declared open by Ronán Garrity, Federal President of Kelssek
Day 1
- Skating Liventia criticized the format of the figure skating team event, claiming that it unduly penalized weak performances in particular segments.
- Lance Coppeler (Nurkama) won gold in the short track men's 1500m, marking his country's first Olympic medal.
- West Phoenicia's hopes of repeating its figure skating team gold fell away with mistakes in the pairs portion of the event.
- Saint-Domingues won its first Olympic medal thanks to Margot Hardanger's gold in the women's speed skating 3000m.
