The 2018 Nordania Crisis was an international crisis between Ambrose and Wosrac, as well as their respective allies. The diplomatic stand-off was sparked by an attack on an encampment of the Northumbrian Republican Army (NRA) by combined elements of the Ambrosian Confederal Armed Forces that occurred in the Seather, a territory claimed by Ambrose but under Wosracan control. The incursion was condemned as illegal by Wosrac and the Northern Sea Defense Organization, while Ambrose argued that the assault occurred in de jure Ambrosian territory, further claiming that Wosrac was sponsoring terrorism by failing to take action against NRA insurgents in the Seather. Wosrac, Ambrose, and Ambrose's ally Cradebetia issued full-scale mobilizations towards each other's borders, which triggered a string of mobilizations across Nordania. At the height of the crisis, war was nearly triggered off the similarly-disputed Tower Islands, where Sjealandic Air Force jets buzzed and were fired upon by Ambrosian Navy ships. An ultimatum issued by Sjealandic Prime Minister Erik Valmund demanding arbitration by the Nordanian League was accepted by President John Frederick Cleburne.

Swastria: Federal Chancellor Mathias Brügger labelled the Camisea raid a "threat to regional security" in an interview with Hüt Obend on September 11. In addition, he also said that the international community must recognise that countries have a "right to territorial integrity and security from terrorism". Brügger said that while the government was concerned about the raid's impact on regional security and the implications of it, he also stated that the Swastrian government would not issue an outright condemnation. Furthermore, Brügger offered to mediate discussions between Ambrose and Wosrac in Swastria itself.
