General elections were held in Vinalia on 1 February 2023. Voters elected a new President of Vinalia to serve a four-year term, 262 members of the North Vinalian Parliament and 148 members of the South Vinalian Parliament for a period of four years. Local elections for both constituent parliaments were already assigned, while in 2022 new constitutional changes allowed the president greater powers, and allowed the position to be elected by the general public for the first time since 1991. Several governorships, and mayoral races were also contested on the day.

The incumbent president Valeria Kunavin, who had been in the position since 2021, ran ahead of an alliance of the ruling Federal government Unionist and Worker parties, alongside the opposition Green, Indigenous, Socialist Alternative, and Worker Section.

The presidential election was won by Valeria Kunavin by a sizeable margin. Remember that stats for South Vinalia are not correct
