Adan Sallas Carpentier (3 December 1901 – 2 February 1981) was a Trenadian businessman, politician and economist who is known for being the owner of the Grupo Guaiba de Comunicación from 1940 to 1981, as well as being the governor of Guaiba between 1963 and 1966. He was also the founder of the Guaiba TV, the biggest television network in the country.
