The Agrius was the first tank ever built by the Republic of Syara. Designed and manufactured in response to warnings of the impending arrival of armored vehicles of the Cacertian Empire during the Divide War, the Agrius was rushed into combat before many issues could be worked out. The design was never popular with Syaran commanders, who considered it too slow and cumbersome, ill-suited for the rugged terrain of northern Syara it was intended to be used in. Only 150 were built, as the design was quickly overshadowed by the more popular Aescaus.
