Albertirsa (Ruvelkan Script: Űiũīḻṻíṷ) is a closed city in the Aszód District on Ruvelka’s border with Syara. It was founded in 1951 CE in the wake of the Siduri War as a fortress city before eventually becoming a joint Imperial Army, Imperial Air Force, and Imperial Fusiliers operating base. Entry into the city is highly restricted; foreign citizens are not allowed within the city’s limits and only Ruvelkan citizens with authorization are permitted. With a population of 100,313, Albertirsa is currently the largest of Ruvelka’s closed cities.

During the Zemplen War, Albertirsa was an important strategic target for Syaran forces. Much of the non-essential personnel of Albertirsa were evacuated east at the onset of the conflict. The location of the city—surrounded by rough terrain and heavy forests—made it a difficult target and allowed the military personnel based there to put up a fierce defense in the early months of the war. However, isolated and under sustained attack, Albertirsa was captued by Syaran forces in October 2008. It was returned to Ruvelka following the Treaty of Aragon, rebuilt, and re-staffed in the aftermath of the conflict.
